Jhirna's morning safari was disappointing, having seen only a few new species of small birds. But, the evening safari to Jhirna had two great surprises -- a herd of wild elephants crossing a dried river bed and three separate sightings of dancing peacocks. This peacock was performing for three peahens ... unfortunately, all of them eventually flew away :-( leaving the peacock performing for us :-)

I had never seen a peacock dance. And here I was seeing three of them dancing, each with the full wing span open and for several minutes!
